Hiking With Randy Pirate Challenge (aka Mission 125) is a special event. RGAP Creative will force Randy Dreammaker - the host of our Hiking With Randy web series on YouTube to wear a pirate costume in public during the filming of an episode.Help us reach the goal of 125 Subscribers by April 1, 2013 so we can make Randy do something weird!
I had quite a few friends ask me to do a Harlem Shake video for Hiking With Randy. The idea was sort of challenging for us, since Hiking With Randy is normally hosted by one person in the outdoors (Other than the occasional co-host on a few Season 2 episodes.)
So how do you do a Harlem Shake when your in the mountains and your the only cast other than the crew running the camera and sound equipment?
You do it as funny and with all your heart, that’s how you do it! Got to send out “the love”.
The timing was actually perfect, since RGAP Creative, the shows sponsor has put out a challenge to Hiking With Randy viewers across the various platforms on the internet.
Get us 125 YouTube Subscribers by April 1st, and I have to do an entire episode in a public area wearing a full pirate costume.
Personally, its hard to predict if we can get 107 more subscribers in the next 15 days. That may be asking allot, but if fans and friends can get the show up to 125 Subscribers by April 1st, then I guess I’ll will be wearing a pirate costume during an up coming episode.
RGAP Creative is putting out a few extra promo videos over the next few days to try to gather some new subscribers to the show. They have already put out two episodes this month and the Harlem Shake video too, that’s a lot more than normal.
Anyways, I am more than willing to get a little crazy and twisted - that’s pretty much the show anyways. It’s sort of a Hiking version of Tool Time. I used to love watching Tim The Tool Man.
